SOLD by John Ryan & the Leaders in Luxury Team
Offered at $2,865,000 we are pleased to advise the recent sale of #3 -The Cedars.

Nestled within a wooded preserve and overlooking the Chateau Golf Course, this 2500 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath property is part of a select collection of mountain homes in the Blackcomb Benchlands community, one of Intrawest’s most prestigious addresses.
The distinctive mountain architecture features heavy timber and natural stone detailing. Outside, the cedar shake roof and natural cedar siding provide balance between the alpine setting and this exclusive development. Inside, the river stone fireplace with its heavy timber mantel and extensive wood millwork throughout, frame the sumptuous yet intimate décor.
Hand-set heated slate floors in the kitchen and bathrooms deliver unparallel comfort, while pine cabinets and a white cast iron sink provide a rustic touch. The vaulted ceiling in the living area and floor to ceiling double-glazed wood windows take advantage of the views, without compromising the country feel.
These homes only come around once in a decade.

Whistler’s Athletes Village becomes Resident Housing
Cheakamus Crossing is a unique and exceptional neighborhood designed with both the needs of the local community and the environment in mind. One of Whistler’s most talked-about Olympic legacies, the neighborhood is currently being built prior to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to house visiting athletes, and will be converted post-Games into a vibrant, local community with a diverse housing mix and front door access to countless recreational opportunities and neighborhood conveniences.
All the resident restricted properties at Cheakamus Crossing have been made available for sale beginning in the Fall of 2008. The Whistler Real Estate Company has been administering the sales for this project with Greg Ambrose and Frances Davis as the main point of contact. Prospective purchasers on the Whistler Housing Authority waitlist for Cheakamus Crossing are being given the opportunity to purchase a property based on individual waitlist priority order. The resident restricted properties are being well received with a mixed offering able to meet varying budgets and needs. To date, over half of the 221 resident restricted properties have been sold in a short 5 week period.
Stay tuned: Cheakamus Crossing has a number of market opportunities ranging from home sites to spacious 3 bedroom townhomes. These will be available for viewing in early 2009.
